The next Cosby CC Social of 2019 has been announced and will be our ever popular Race Night taking place on Friday 5th April in the back room of the Bulls Head in Cosby starting at 7:30pm. There will be the opportunity on the evening to win your fortune (relatively speaking) and we are also offering the chance to sponsor any of the horses that are running for just £3, with the winning sponsors getting a star prize (probably wine or chocolate). Everybody is welcome so tell your friends and the Race Night is always an entertaining evening. If you are interested in sponsoring a horse or for more information on the Race Night please contact either Steve Bickle, Mark Newitt or any member of the committee.

Junior Nets are due to start (hurrah) and for Under 13's and 15's  will take place on Thursday Nights from 6 till 7pm at City Cricket Academy on Freemans Common with the first session on March 14th. Nets for the Under 17's will take place on Friday Nights at Countesthorpe College from 6 till 7pm and these will begin on March 22nd. With the season just a few short weeks away it is time for members to pay their Annual Subscription. This was set at the AGM in November as £40 for seniors and £60 for juniors with the juniors subscription covering match fees for all junior matches. The easiest way to pay is by Bank Transfer straight into the clubs account. To do this you will need our account number 21304038 and sort code 402419. If you do transfer the money online can you please use the reference Annual Subs. We also accept payments the old fashioned ways in the form of cash or cheque with cheques made payable to Cosby Cricket Club. For more information on Annual Subs get in contact with Chris Pople.
