As you may (or may not) be aware yesterday at the Leicestershire Cricket Awards our very own Pete Sullivan won the Lifetime Achievement award for his services to local cricket and more specifically ourselves as Cosby Cricket Club. Over the years Pete has carried out a number of roles within the club from 1st Team Captain, Groundsman, Chairman, Sweeper Up, Tea maker and every job in between. What most of us would know him best for is his role as Junior coach and generations of Cosby Cricketer all started with Pete as their coach and over the years it is these players that have been brought through by Pete that has enabled the club to keep running. As well as his work within the club Pete was also chairman of the Leicestershire senior league for a number of years as well as appearing on various other committees representing Cosby Cricket Club.

Now we've all known that Pete is a legend for ages but finally the good folks of Leicestershire Cricket have bestowed upon him the Lifetime Achievement award that no one has deserved more and is far too long overdue.
