Welcome to Cosby Cricket Club

We are an ambitious club currently playing in Leicestershire Everards League Division 3 and Division 6. We run 4 senior teams (1st XI, 2nd XI, Sunday XI & Mid-week XI) that cater for all abilities. We also run a number of Junior teams, including Kwik Cricket, Under 13’s, 15’s and 17’s.

2009 has been a very successful year for both our senior cricket teams in their respective divisions. Despite being bottom of Division 3 at the halfway stage in the Season, the First XI rallied in the second half to finish a creditable sixth, achieving a Club record tally of 283 points.

Cosby 2nd XI had a fantastic season, finishing top of Division 7 and earning promotion, with strong performances that saw the team go unbeaten throughout the season. With 17 wins and three draws (plus 2 abandoned) from their 22 games, Cosby 2nd XI were the only team in the entire Everards League system to earn this achievement, finishing with 440 points, 84 points clear of the second placed team.

Youth and Junior cricket continues to be a particular focus for the Club with a number of Junior sides having a good 2009. Through the youth sides Cosby Cricket Club endeavour to continue the development of Cricket in Cosby.

Anyone interested in joining us and getting involved in whatever capacity (be it as a player, coach, helping with scoring or even umpiring) please contact the club through this website
