It is with regret and sadness that the Club announces the passing of Club President, Bruce Sampson, after a short illness.

Bruce was a lifelong Cosby member who undertook a number of roles for the club. Latterly he was the club treasurer before taking on the role of President last year. Bruce loved his cricket and spent many hours watching the teams play on a Saturday afternoon. Always available for a chat, he loved the banter and always had a witty retort. He will be much missed by us all.

A celebration of Bruce’s life will take place at 1pm on Tuesday 12th Dec at Cosby Methodist Church, followed by a gathering at Cosby WMC to raise a toast in his memory.

The Club extends its sympathies and condolences to Charlie and the Sampson family at this very sad time.
