With 2018 disappearing into the distance fast we would first like to take this opportunity to wish all our players, members, supporters and sponsors a happy new year and we hope you all have a 2019 to remember both on and off the cricket field.

We are pleased to announce that our Senior Pre Season Net Programme will commence on Tuesday January 29th at City Cricket Academy (CCA) between 8pm and 9pm. We currently have 8 sessions booked  in this Tuesday Night slot but we may have the potential for more if needed. The cost of Senior Nets will be £4 per session or if you wish to pay in advance you can pay £25 for all 8 sessions. For more information on Senior Nets please contact either Chris Pople or Michael Whitehead.

With regards to Junior Nets we hope to be able to announce where and when they will be taking place in the next week or so, if you have any queries about junior cricket in the meantime please contact either Ash Pepper or Tony Parris.

As you may be aware following the AGM in November the position of 1st XI Vice Captain remained unfilled. We are now pleased to announce that the job has been taken by long time Cosby Cricket Club player Nigel Meredith. Good luck in your new role Nigel.

We have a busy social calendar planned for 2019 and we are currently in the process of dotting the i's and crossing the t's with any arrangements that need to be made and we will be in touch in the coming weeks with all the details and dates for your diaries.

Finally the 2019 season is due to commence on 20th April 2019, no fixtures have been announced yet but once again it promises to be an exciting year at Cosby C.C.
