We are pleased to announce the return of the Cosby CC 6-a-Side Competition which will take place on Sunday July 9th at The Park with matches starting at 10am. Each match will be 5 overs a side with everyone but the wicketkeeper bowling. The competition is open to all abilities and age groups (Cosby juniors have a proud history in the comp) and is not restricted to club members. The emphasis of the day is fun and we will have all the regular attractions of bar, bbq etc. Kit will be provided where needed (bats, pads, gloves etc) and there is no need to play in whites. The cost of entering is £12 per team (so just £2 a man, less if you have a squad). The 6-a-side is always a memorable event who can forget the "Dad's" Team taking the honours last time out or the Cosby RFC team who made up for what they lacked in cricketing ability with enthusiasm and entertainment.
