We would like to take this opportunity to update you of the decisions made by the Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket League in response to the ongoing Corona Virus crisis in the UK.

The league has taken the decision to cancel all the fixtures for the first half of the 2020 season. As such at the moment the season would be scheduled to start on July 4th. 

All decisions on promotion and relegation are still under discussion and no definite decision will be made until there is certainty over the exact length of the season. All decisions on cup competitions will be reviewed depending on the length of the season and there is a possibility that cup games could be played before the start of the league fixtures.

Obviously all these decisions are subject to review depending how long the corona virus crisis continues and we will continue to keep you updated of all changes as and when we know them.

In the meantime stay safe, look out for one another and we will hopefully be able to see you all for some cricket at some point this summer.
